JD Dougher
Gerard (who goes by JD) is an anthropology/religion major at American University and has a very interesting life. He has been studying at Beijing DaXue since January and thinks Beijing is great, though at times somewhat heartless and Communistic. He loves Yunnan, Xi'an, and Shanghai. Since he has finished the semester, he has been backpacking in Southeast Asia and is currently in Chiang Mai, Thailand. He has also passed through Cambodia and plans to go to Laos, Malaysia, and Singapore before heading to Hangzhou. He is excited that soon he'll be able to stay in one place for a while.
